One of the most stylish clubs on the Coast, La Notte is an Art Deco masterpiece. Under new management,the club has shaken off its old-timers image and is attracting a more ecclectic crowd. As manageress, the sassy Nicola Bowen has given the club a new lease of life with trendier music and a touch of theatrical masterpiece to the glamorous parties. The summer terrace, Il Gardino,is packed with men who all seem to bear an alarming resemblance to Philip Junot, and there’s a fair chance that one of them will be Philip Junot himself. The preferred haunt of Rod Stewart when he’s in town, this summer, La Notte is hosting several after show parties for visiting pop stars.
